Hello my friends. I wanted to write to you because Nayeli and I are in one of those spots that missionaries can get in sometimes. We have been very blessed over the years and we have been provided for at all times. Lately our support has been a little down just as we have had some unexpected expenses. We have been praying and trust that God will provide once again as he always has. We are writing you to let you know of our need and you can respond however you believe God is leading you.
We pay our taxes quarterly but this year they still came out to be more expected. That means that we have what is left to be paid of our taxes for 2007 and our first quarterly taxes for 2008. This comes out to about 2,500 dollars and we are definitely in a tight spot. Everything in our ministry and our family is going well right now. The financial situation is our crisis.
We have had peace because of God’s provision but now is the time to ask you, our friends and supporters, if you could give a little extra. You don’t know how much we appreciate each and every one of you. Some of you already give what your budget allows. There are some of you that could feel the call to support us for the first time. A one time gift, an increase in support or starting to give us monthly support would really help us as we continue to follow Christ in this new ministry.
We love you guys and we trust now that God will bring in the provision. It’s always a little uncomfortable to write this kind of e-mail. But the reality is that this is the missionary life that God has called Nayeli and I into. Thank you guys and God bless!
