Hello friends and family. How are you all doing as we have fully exited summer? It´s still pretty hot here in Tepic. But it´s great to know that a nice winter is coming. Nayeli and I have a lot coming up all the way until the New Year. We have concerts, small groups, social helps projects and a USA trip all coming up. We are stoked!
Our family is doing great. Dylan is a healthy and very happy baby. I was always afraid that I would have a difficult baby because I have always heard about how much trouble I caused as a baby. Well, maybe the next one will be a little more difficult. Dylan is cheerful most of the time. We love him!
Our work is very much split between our major purposes with The Movement now. We have been practicing and playing some free shows around town with our band. We have concerts coming up in October, November and December. We played in a local park this last Sunday night. The cool thing about that is that people from our small group came with us and invited people to The Movement while we were playing. These are the same people who became involved in The Movement because they saw us play in that same park during the summer. Pretty cool.
We are planning a free benefit show on December 15th that should be pretty cool. It´s going to be a free concert where we ask people to bring gifts and toys for underprivileged children. We met with a local government agency this week and they are going to work with us to make it happen. It should be a pretty large event. There will be two bands from Guadalajara, two bands from Tepic and our band playing at the show. That is great news and we are excited for that event.
The Movement is going well. Our small group here in Tepic has been having truly meaningful times together. It´s been beautiful to see these guys open themselves up to Christ as we continue to read the words of Jesus together. The prayer times we have been having together have been sincere and inspiring. The Movement is also getting started in Guadalajara and there are some friends in Spain who are about to get started as well.
We love you guys. Thanks for participating in this with us. We miss you and hope to see you all when we visit the USA in November. God bless!
